KP PROVINCIAL PROJECT
Agriculture contributes 22% to the KP provincial GDP and provides employment to 44% of the labor force.
12,500 acres of agricultural land irrigated by the construction of 5,000 water storage ponds.
7,000 acres land will be usable for agriculture, after development of 70 numbers of micro watersheds.
Installation of 700 solar pumping systems and 300 Tube Wells to increase 17,500 hectares of land for irrigation.
Consideration of 700 farmers for irrigation water pumping by adopting solar technology
12,500 acres of agricultural land irrigated by the construction of 5,000 water storage ponds.
Protection of 6,250 acres of agricultural land through execution of 2,500 stream bank stabilization works.
Providing sufficient irrigation water to 2,500 acres of land after construction of 1,000 field spillways.

925 acres of land will be irrigated after the establishment of 370 water seepage harvesting galleries.
Protecting 2,000 acres of land from erosion by 800 Agronomic low cost interventions.
230 acres land of sand dunes will be stablized by growing kanna plants.
